Smith Barney VP
Peter R. de Castro of Amissville has been promoted to vice president of investments for Smith Barney, the New York-based investment firm has announced.
Mr. de Castro was formerly a second vice president. Prior to joining Smith Barney he served with the U.S. diplomatic corps overseas as a economic-commercial advisor.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College and a master’s from Georgetown.
