Flint Hill carnival underway
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival began last night and will continue through Saturday, Aug. 1.
Highlights of the week will include Thursday the parade will begin at 6:45 p.m. and be led by the newly crowned Miss Virginia and will also feature high school bands, fire and rescue equipment. Box suppers will be available at 5 p.m. Friday night Shenandoah will perform for two shows, 8:45-9:30 p.m. and 10:15-11 p.m. and awarding of prizes will be held Saturday night. Kids can ride ThursdaySaturday at the cost of $6 per night.
