Jenkins family reunion The annual reunion of the family of the late Alfred and Catherine Gearing Jenkins will be held Sunday, Aug. 9 at the Rappahannock Park, Washington. All friends and relatives are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Puppet show at library August is puppet month at the Rappahannock Library. Everyone is invited to come to the library at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 when the members of the Jr. Girl Scout Troop . 547 will present “The tortoise and the hare.” All library programs are free and open to the public

Soccer camp Alderson-Broaddus College will again have its Soccer Day Camp Aug. 10-14. The camp will be in two sessions at Sisk Field, Culpeper: Youth session 9 a.m.-noon. Varsity session 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Camp registration fee is $60. Registration forms will be available at Cabin Fever and the Rappahannock Library.

CPR classes offered The Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering Community CPR classes from 6-10 p.m. Aug. 4 and 5 at the Red Cross Office, 53 South Third Street, Warrenton. Standard First Aid is being taught from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 1 also at the Red Cross Office. All classes are $25. To register, send checks to the Red Cross Office in Warrenton.
