The annual Flint Hill Firemen’s carnival began on Wednesday. Tonight (Thursday) the grand parade will be led by Miss Virginia. Box suppers will be available at the carnival grounds beginning at 5 p.m. Friday will feature two shows by Shenandoah at 8:45-9:30 p.m. and 10:15 to 11 p.m.
Saturday the awarding of prizes which include 1992 Ford Festiva, Purebred Black Angus Heifer, Redskin tickets, living room furniture, fire chief decanter, locally painted picture, homemade quilt, afghan, chicken coop hutch. The Ladies Auxiliary will award a China doll.
