Awards in recognition of special services or contributions went to Joyce Dwyer Pullen and Delores Moore for attending the food; to Nannie Kendall Payne for her information and permission to copy old photos; to Jeanie L. Dwyer for the flower arrangements; Betty Dwyer Sisk for baking our reunion cake and Dot Payne Grove /or attending register and name tags.
Although no award was given we’d like to publicly announce our thanks to our family member, Terri Jenkins Harrell for helping with registration and name tags.
Many new items concerning our family’s heritage and history were displayed and added to our annuals. Our thanks is extended to Harold and Ella Hamby of Warrenton who extended our knowledge of the family of Andrew Boswell and Augusta Dwyer Jenkins.
Our reunion was attended by Jack Dwyer of Black Rock Farm, Flint Hill whom we found very informative and hope some day to find our Irish connections as he has done.
Next year’s reunion is scheduled to be held on Saturday instead of Sunday. Look for coming announcements concerning meetings of the committee forming this one.
