Beulah Grigsby
Beulah Vincent Grigsby, 62, of Amissville, died Wednesday, July 22 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Amissville, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucy Hitt Smith.
She is survived by five sons, Robert Alton Grigsby, Buddy Franklin Grigsby, Kenneth Ray Grigsby and Bruce David Grigsby, all of Amissville and Eldridge Grigsby Jr. of Chester Gap; a daughter, Kathy Diane Grigsby of Amissville; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Smith of Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands; and five sisters, Nettie Hitt of Charlottesville, Roberta Woodard and Virginia Fletcher, both of Warrenton, Ellen Welch of Hint Hill and Lina Levitove of Silver Spring, Md.
A funeral service was held Sunday, July 26 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper. The Rev. C. Richard Woodard officiated, assisted by the Rev. Lindsay Savage. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Ray Coffey, Charles Burke, Shane Breeden, Richard Blankenship, Junior Blankenship and David Beahm.
Jessie Jenkins
Jessie Junior Jenkins, 55, of Culpeper, died Thursday, July 23 at his residence.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Rappahannock County on April 3, 1937, the son of the late Jessie James and Daisy Margaret Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy G. Jenkins of Culpeper; two sons, Jessie Carl Pullen of Rixeyville and Shane Jenkins of Culpeper; and a step-son, Joe Pullen and a stepdaughter, Wendy Pullen, both of Culpeper. He is also survived by a brother, Lud Jenkins of Centreville and a sister, Annie Haynes of Madison.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 25 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Carl R. Menefee officiating.
Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
