Cross country tryouts
Tryouts for Rappahannock High School cross country team will be held at 8 a.m. on Aug. 17 at the high school. Individuals are asked to bring physical information. For more information call the high school at 987-8575 or Tim Corder at 675-1176.
Voter cards mailed
Every registered voter in Rappahannock County has been mailed a new voter registration card. Individuals who think they are registered and haven’t received a card or received a card with the wrong information, please contact the Registrar’s office at 675-3739.
Perot meeting
A Virginians for Perot meeting will be held at 7p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at the Rappahannock Library. While efforts to place Ross Perot on the ballot in all 50 states will continue, new ideas are being considered at local, state and national levels as to how best harness the momentum and energy created by the Perot campaign.
