State Sen. Kevin Miller, R-26th, came to the Board of Supervisors meeting last week to discuss the county’s legislative agenda. Sen. Miller said he agreed with most of the agenda, but wanted to discuss the issues in person.
He said he supported giving counties the same taxing and borrowing power cities have. He said he supported the proposals that the state not issue additional mandates without funding them. He supported the proposal that the state encourage regional recycling efforts.
