The freedoms unleashed by our Constitution permit us to live free from tyranny and develop our talents and abilities to the fullest.
Countless Americans tend to forget how precious the priveleges given to them by the Constitution are. The oppressed in many nations courageously struggle for the basic rights we have been granted with for over two centuries.
Last week commemorated the 205th anniversary of the signing of our United States Constitution. The same document that served 13 frail states now serves a world power. Our Constitution is the oldest one still in use today. It is a model many countries attempt to emulate. Let us remember that the responsibility to defend and preserve the Constitution belong to us all.
