Three motorists were charged with reckless driving after accidents during the past two weeks, Virginia State Police reported.

• An Amissville man was charged with an equipment violation after he wrecked his motorcycle Sept. 2, according to Trooper C.A. Moore. Moore reported that Dane Rinehart, 25, was southbound on Route 611, one mile south of U.S. 211, when he apparently locked his brakes in a turn and lost control of his 1975 Yamaha motorcycle. Rinehart was injured, Moore reported, and the bike suffered minor damage. Defective brakes were cited as a factor in the accident, the trooper reported.

• On Sept. 5, Joseph Butler, 34, of Woodville, apparently lost control
