1 will be shown at The Theatre at Washington, Va. on Sunday, the weekly RAAC-sponsored movie.

Based on the non-fiction book “The Turning Point” by futurist and Green Party theorist Fritjof Capra, the film is basically an extended vignette about two old friends. One of which is a failed U.S. presidential candidate, (Sam Waterston) the other an expatriate poet (John Heard).

The politician is going through a particularly troubled time when the two meet in Northern France. They accidentally meet a somewhat disillusioned physicist (Liv Ullmann) while touring the islet of Mont St. Michel.
