Mothering Coop to meet

The Rappahannock Mothering Cooperative will have a potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17. At 12:30 LeAnn Washburn will speak to the group on “Touch for Health” with a demonstration combining oriental and western healing for the purpose of preventing illness and injury and increasing energy. In case of rain the event will be held at Trinity Episcopal. A $2 donation will be requested from non-members. The potluck and meeting are both open to the public.

RAA mothers to meet

The newly formed Rappahannock Athletic Association Mothers Auxiliary will hold its first meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Amissville fire hall. All mothers interested in helping with League functions are invited to join and attend this meeting. If you have any questions call Becky Putnam at 347-1128 or Cheryl Digges at 937-5157.

Step Aerobic classes

Step Aerobic classes will be held at the Amissville fire hall beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $30 for four weeks. Bring your own step. Call 937-4063 or 349-2791 for more information.

Auction at WVFD

A benefit auction for Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue \Jill

be held at the fire hall at 6 p.m. on Sept. 26. Over 200 items including sporting, furniture, laundry appliances, baby furniture, kitchen and misc. along with antiques, various items from local stores, craft and craft shops. Items are still being accepted. Call 675-3615 for pickup.
