More than 1,300 music lovers have joined the Community Concert Association for its new season, which gets off to a swinging start Sept. 20 when the Glenn Miller Orchestra will be playing numbers like “Moonlight Serenade" and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo” once again.
The 19-member Miller orchestra, led by trombonist Larry O’Brien, goes on the stage at 8 p.m. in the Culpeper County High School auditorium.
Association members later will see three other events there: the Shanghai Acrobats and Dance Theater, Nov. 13; the American Boychoir, Jan. 29, and the Sartory Trio Chamber Ensemble, Feb. 21.
