Each shining surgical instrument reflects the bright light overhead. Gowned and masked figures move deftly and quietly. Yet, there is one condition which all of the skill of the surgical team cannot control, that being the condition of the spirit. It has been proven that those patients with a hopeful, positive, and faithful attitude have a significantly greater chance of survival and recovery.
Romans 12:12 instructs us to “be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." We can learn those attributes by worshipping in the house of the Lord and by the study of His Word. Begin now to practice positive spiritual conditioning. It could save your life!
