Yuteal Strother
Yuteal M. Strother of Boston, died Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Strother; one son, William J. Strother; one daughter-in-law, Hattie B. Strother; her father-inlaw, Johnnie J. Strother; two sisters, Ella Lee Banks of Lignum and Mabel Edwards of Willingboro, N.J.; two brothers-in-law, James H. Banks and Andrew Edwards; three nieces; two nephews, one greatniece, Kiara; four uncles; three aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends. Also a devoted second mother, Mrs. Lillie M. Johnson.
A funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 6 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Norman with the Rev. Hugh R. Wilson of Culpeper officiating. Interment was in Nazareth Baptist Church Cemetery in Boston.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Bobby Berry
Bobby Luke Berry, 63, of Redding, Pa., formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Sarah Berry; a son, Cornell Berry of Redding; a brother, Wilbert Berry of Manhatten, Kansas and two nephews, Brian Fletcher and Marcus Fletcher, both of Fairfax.
A memorial service with military honors was held Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Fletcher family cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Harold A. Stinger officiating.
Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
Carlton Aylor
Carlton Lewis Aylor, 73, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the Univeristy of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was bom in Rappahannock County, the son of Clifton and Nellie Elkins Aylor.
Mr. Aylor is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florine Yowell Aylor; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Horvath of Glendale, Calif, and Mrs. Barbara Cronk of Spotsylvania; two sons, Charles H. Aylor of Elizabethtown, Ky. and John W. Aylor of Orange County. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edna Fincham and Miss Rosa Lee Aylor, both of Culpeper. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
