'Bible Expo' at Culpeper What was Columbus’ stated reason for wanting to cross the Atlantic? When was the King James version of the Bible published? The first Bible printed in the U.S. was printed in what language? Visitors to the “Bible Expo,” coming to the Culpeper Baptist Church Sept. 18-27, will be able to learn the answers to these and many other fascinating questions about the greatest, and best selling book in the world. Joe and Lois Black, friends of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, have collected more than 1,000 Bibles, plus related posters, documents, tracts, maps, etc. during their lifetime of travels in the U.S. and abroad. “Bible Expo” will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, Sept. 19 and 26; from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays, Sept. 20 and 27 and during the intervening week, doors will be open 2-9 p.m. Local civic and religious leaders invite the general public to learn from this unique display.
