barn dance scheduled
There will be an old fashion barn dance at the Digges Bam in Amissville to benefit the Rappahannock Athletic Association from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on June 5. The band. Heavy Dreamer will be playing. There will also be a bon fire, food and set-ups. No one under 21 will be admitted. Tickets will be sold at the gate and will be $25 per couple or $15 singles. Teen dance planned
There will be a teen dance for ages 12-19 from 8 to 11 p.m. on Fri-* day, June 11 at the Amissville fire hall. Refreshments will be provided. For more information call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.
RCES PTO
The last meeting for the school year of the RCES PTO will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 in the RCES Library. Come meet your new officers! Free babysitting will be provided.
Summer riding camp

Baccalaureate service
There will be a Baccalaureate Service at the Rappahannock County High School at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 6. This is being sponsored by local churches and the RCHS Bible Club.
Helpers desperately needed
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department, RAAC, and RAWL are responsible for the parking situation on July 4th in Washington and the money collected is used to support the three groups. These organizations would like your assistance with this job. If you would be willing to help on the Fourth for 2-4 hours parking cars, please call Beverly Atkins at 675-3843 to schedule your shift.
NSDAR to meet
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapters NSDAR will meet on Tuesday, June 8 at the Madisori County Court House at 10:30 a.m. for a walking tour of Madison.
