NOTICE OF HEARING

Pursuant to Section 15.1-11260 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice Is hereby given that the Rappahannock County Water 6t Sewer Authority will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 29, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse In Washington, Virginia, to consider the adoption of amendments to the ordinance establishing rates, fees and charges, including hook-up fees, relating to the Sperryville Sewer System. The Rappahannock County Water flc Sewer Authority at the meeting on May 20, 1993 adopted, by resolution, a preliminary schedule fixing and classifying such rates, fees and charges. The proposed amendment to the schedule of rates, fees and charges are as follows:

1 Each owner of the residential and/or non-resdentlal low

proved property which shall be connected to and/or served by the Sewer System shall pay sewer rentals or charges at a rate of $64.50 per quarter per equivalent dwelling unit.

This notice is being published once a week for two (2) successive weeks In the Rappahannock News, a newspaper having a general circulation in the County of Rappahannock, Virginia, at least sixty (60) days prior to the date of the above described hearing. A copy of this notice is being mailed to the Clerk of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors. Upon adoption of these amendments, with appropriate modifications, if any, a copy of the same will be filed In the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County.
