June forecast is for temperatures that will be average though precipitation will be below average.
Weather forecast: Storms are called for (1,2) followed by a warm, breezy period (3,4), than another storm. Though (5-8) should be fair, pleasant, look for more showers, storms (9-12). It’s a return to fair, pleasant days (13-16), but more rain, stormy weather (17,18). We return to fair, warm, pleasant days (19,20), followed by a very warm, humid period with storms. (27,28) continues fair, very warm and the month winds up with showers, cool temps predicted for (29,30).
Tornado watch: Storm warnings for the area are in effect for the following periods: (1-4), (11-12), (18) and (30).
Full moon: June’s full moon occurs on the 4th at 9:02 AM DST and is known by many as the flower moon, by others the strawberry moon, reminding everyone of the “festivals” when those luscious red delights are piled on biscuits and topped with whipped cream or crushed in homemade ice cream with everyone vying for “licking the dasher.”
