Teens Offered
Summer Arts
To the Editor:
We are , writing to you because we want to be sure that the teenagers (13-18) in our community, as well as their parents, become aw are of a new and exceptional program they can take part in this summer, The Summer Program in the Performing Arts for Teenagers, to be held at Ki Theatre from July 12 to Aug. 1.
Many of us have been concerned for quite some time that there are so few constructive activities for teenagers here in Rappahannock County, especially during the summer.
Now the staff of Ki Theatre has come up with the Summer Program in the Performing Arts for Teenagers which offers teenagers a chance to have a great time while working hard at something exciting, rewarding and fulfilling.
After talking with Sharon Wyrriek, director of the summer program and a long-time professional in the performing arts, we are convinced that teenagers will have a wonderful opportunity to gain new’ skills in communication, self-discipline and cooperation. We were delighted to find out that The Summer Program for Teenagers is structured to welcome young people of all levels of experience, including those who have never been involved in the performing arts before.
