The Warrenton Town Council and Board of Zoning Appeals have scheduled a joint public hearing December 14 to hear an application for a special use permit from Warrenton Amusements Inc. to operate a fivescreen movie theatre in part of the former Ames store building in the Warrenton Towne Centre.
The movie theatres would take up about 13,000 square feet of the 55,000 square feet in the former Ames space. A Dollar General Store has already opened in 11.000 square feet.
