“white” team, while Clarence Pendleton, the old man on the team from the class of ’84, had 22, and Eric Dunn from the class of’89 had 20.

In presenting the trophy to Mr. Porter, Mr. Leake noted that the trophy was being presented in memory of Jennifer Wines, a member of the class of ’91, who died Nov. 20 in an automobile accident. Miss Wines was a former cheerleader and softball player.

Mr. Leake also said the tournament had raised nearly $800 for the athletic fund. It is the fund’s major fundraiser for the year.

In the earlier “consolation” game Saturday night the team in green jerseys defeated the team in blue 9186. Paul Hitt from the class of '91 paced the team in scoring with 23 points while Tommy Jenkins from the class of ’86 scored 13. For the “blue" team Mike Payne from the class of ’89 scored 23 points and Kevin Joliffe from the class of '93 scored 20.
