William Riley
William Lee Riley, 63, of Front Royal, died Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the .Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
The funeral was conducted Friday, Nov. 26 at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton by the Rev. BarbaraJ. Miller. ' ' Burial was in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Riley was bom Dec. 14, 1929, in Rappahannock County. He was a construction worker. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Anna M. Weaver; two daughters, Brenda Riley and Linda Riley, both of Front Royal; one son, David Riley of Front ,, Royal; three sisters, Mafie Smith of Shenandoah, Goldie Smoot of Flint Hill and Helen Grimsley of Marshall; and a brother, Lewis C. Riley Jr. of .Stephens City. - .Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Fund.
Hayward Pitcock
Hayward Wesley Pitcock, 83, of Winchester, died Wednesday, Nov. 24 in the Winchester Medical Center.
The funeral was conducted on Saturday at the Omps Funeral Home by Pastor Kim G. Robertson.
Burial was in Mount Hebron Cemetery. . Mr. Pitcock was bom May 16, 1910, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late James Robert and Margaret Butler Pitcock. He was a retired auto body repairman with Chapman Motor Company and a rpember of the Blue Ridge Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, Helen V. Clark; four sisters, Gladys Lauck, June Russell, Lucille Braithwaite and Janet Clark, all of Winchester; and a brother, William Pitcock of Winchester. ; Pallbearers were nephews.
