REALTORS are joining in the Christmas festivities by organizing a Christmas Candlelight Tour on Sunday Dec. 5, from 4-8 p.m. on the corner of Blue Ridge Avenue and Asher Streets in Culpeper.
The tour was roganized to raise money for SAFE, a shelter for abused families that serves the Piedmont area. A group ticket costs $7, which allows you to tour all three homes; a single-home ticket can be purchased for $3 per ticket. ^
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rohrer at 610 S. Blue Ridge Avenue was built in 1911. It was recently renovated. The newly installed kitchen is located in what was originally a first story bedroom, and the original kitchen area is now a cozy library.
Items of interest include a crystal chandelier given to the first owner on her 90th birthday. The home will be decorated by the Culpeper Garden Club.
