Barbara Gentry 1/2 cup shortening (margarine) 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cup pumpkin 21/2 cup sifted flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 cup raisins 1/2 cup chopped nuts Cream shortening with browm sugar, eggs-beat well.
