“I was really happy to know I had a space,” said Darlene Moore of the Beauty Box.
Her business is located in the back of the building which will soon be renovated by owners Patrick O’Connell and Reinhardt Lynch who also own The Inn at Little Washington.
The new Washington Post Office space will be where her beauty shop is now.
The owners have offered Mrs. Moore a permanent space in a building at the far end of the parking lot behind the building she is in now. There is a dental office in one half, an apartment upstairs, and an apartment downstairs where her new shop will be located.
Mrs. Moore hasn’t been able to see the new space yet, and rent has not been discussed, but she is looking forward to getting settled in and doing some decorating. Her present lease runs through January 31, 1994.
