Mrs. Van Lagos acting as hostess motored to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Burke on Saturday when Mrs. Burke was honored with a party in observance of her birthday. Others attending and extending good wishes were Mrs. George Butler, Mrs. Elizabeth Deans, Mrs. Thomas Winkler and Mrs. Frank Duncan. This writer would like to send belated birthday wishes also.

Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church held their Thanksgiving service on Wednesday evening and this Sunday will be having an ordination service when Bill Duncan will be ordained as deacon.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler were Mr. and Mrs. Scott Keithley of New Baltimore and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sims and family and Mrs. George Butler.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kennedy and family of Lynchburg spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with his mother Mrs. Goldie Kennedy.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Michele. Michael and Christopher were Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper.
