Mary Lea
Mary Hudson Lea, 85, of Roanoke formerly of Washington, died on Nov. 25 at the Friendship Manor Convelesent Home in Roanoke.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1908, in Amherst County to the late Maude Massie and Lloyld Hudson.
She was the widow of Mr. T.C. Lea.
She is survived by a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John G. Cargill, Jr. of Moneta; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Lea Jr. of Culpeper and one sister, Mrs. D.J. Thompson of Lynchburg.
Additional survivors include seven grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington with the Rev. Jennings Hobson officiating.
Interment wras private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va. 22747.
Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arramgements.
