Rappahannock News Staff Writer -— Final rehearsals are going on and final preparations are being made for Washington’s Colonial Christmas this weekend.
The Christmas Mart has found a final home at the First Baptist Church parish hall on the edge of the Fodderstack Road. More than a dozen vendors have made plans to attend.
There will be stockings made from antique fabric, herb vinagrette, potpourri, horticultural designs including topiary, baskets filled with paperwhite narcissus, garlands, decorative greens, handmade Christmas ornaments, pottery, wooden Advent Calendars, and gourmet Christmas treats, said Tanya Richey, who is helping to organize the market.
