home at 219 W. Asher Street is another example of Colonial Revival architecture including a full porch and hip roof. This dwelling was built in 1915. The present owners have restored many of the old features and added their own touches.
Special attractions include many family antiques, collections of porcelain and Civil War artifacts. The Chafee Garden Club has decorated the Willis home.
At 218 W. Ashes Street, the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.S. DunfordJackson, is an early 20th century home including Victorian trim. Tastefully renovated by the present owners, the original features of the home have been retained.
Items of interest include the owners collection of antique fruniture and art as well as the new sun room. The house is being decorated by Randy Jones of Randy’s Flowers.
