Hunt Harris, a Rappahannock resident since 1978, was elected president of the Rappahannock League For Environmental Protection, last month. He succeeds Marc Malik.
“I want to focus on RLEP’s role in supporting a balanced, sustainable community,” Harris said after his election by RLEP directors.
The Huntly resident, who also serves as the county’s part-time community recycling coordinator, has been a tennis teaching pro at Chestnut Forks Tennis Club in Warrenton for the past six years. He is a familiar face on private and public courts all over Rappahannock and Fauquier counties, instructing tennis hopefuls.
