Ed Barton, Chairman of the . Friends of the Rappahannock Li-; brary, said the use of the library is truly impressive. He said that because of recent donations of unusual, books on the subject the Rappahan-: nock public library “will become a; center for Civil War research.”
He noted how much has been donated to the library in books and, plantings. He said the county is 66th out of 100 in the level of library funding and third from the bottom in staffing. “We’re asking that funding for one more part-time employee be provided,” he said. “I realize money’s tight, but the library provides
