Belle Grove Plantation will host a bus trip to Baltimore, Md. on Friday, June 17 to view the Maryland Historical Society’s special exhibition of antique Baltimore Album Quilts. Most of the quilts, made between 1846 and 1854, have never been shown or published.
The day will begin with a tour of historic Baltimore lead by nationally acclaimed quilter and author Mimi Dietrich. Mimi will point out various monuments and historial sites accredited to the design of Baltimore Album Quilts. Luncheon will be served at the historic Latham Hotel.
The afternoon will be spent with Curator, Jennifer Goldsbourough.
