Deacon Clark was retired from Rochester Rope and a native of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by three daugh1 ters, Lillie Chandler of Sterling, Rose Burrell of Gaithersburg, Md. and Anne Bowles of Culpeper; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are a brother, Edward Scott of Reedsville; four sisters, Sudie Willis Scott of Fairport, Mary Frippe and Rose Talley, both of Baltimore, Md. and Dorothy Lovelace of Richmond; a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Reaves Clark and two sisters, Rebecca Walters and Ruth Scott. /
A funeral service will be held in the Free Union Baptist Church in Eckington at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25 with the Rev. Calvin E. Lawrence Sr. of Dale City officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
