Wins Another

AuifUnt Coach, Early's Carpet Tigers
Congratulations to the Early’s Carpet Tigers in their 22-13 win against the Hackle/s Store Orioles on Saturday, May 21 at Stuart Field.
Most of the young players on both teams were able to hit the ball as it was pitched to them, rather than using the “T.”
The following Amissville Tigers hit home runs: Kevin Burton, Alex Hammer, Brett Henry, Nicholas Raiford, Dustin Torrance and Kathryn Windmiller.
Another exciting play at home plate was made by the Tigers, this time by seven-year-old catcher Alex Hammer. He tagged out an Oriole in a “run down” between third base and home. The outstanding Tiger defense continued with pitcher Michael Ellis fielding four ground balls and making clean throws to first baseman Brett Henry resulting in outs. ,
