The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor its annual Memorial Day Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29.
The festival is sponsored by Apple Hill Farm B & B, Mountain Spring Stable, Sperryville Antique Market, That Sperryville Emporium, Faith Mountain Catalog Outlet, The Faith Mountain Company, Country Home Antiques, Elmer’s Antiques, Doc’s Ole Stone House, Parkway Gift Shop, Country Manor Outlet and Hazel Mountain Deli.
The day long activities will include special antique and furniture sales, catalog closeouts, continuous live entertainrrient both days at Faith Mountain, big tent sales, games for children, fine arts and crafts, wide variety of herbs, vegetable and flowering plants, homemade food throughout the town, craft demonstrations, pony rides and fun for the entire family.
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual carnival June 1-4. On Wednesday bring the family and ride all night for one low price of $6. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. Saturday night will be the queen contest and the awarding of prizes. The community is urged to support the fire department.
