Rappahannock Newt Contributing Writer - The Rappahannock Library will host instructors and students from Black Belt College of Tae Kwon Do In Warrenton for a martial arts exhibtion on Friday, June 3 at the Rappahannock County Park outside Washington.

Seminar Offered
The Mary Washington College Center for Graduate and Continuing Education is offering a two-day seminar: “Communicating the Game.”
It will help high school and college students get prepared for and get into the field of sports communication. The program will be held in Seacobeck Hall, room 112, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., room 112, on July 14 and 15. Nine of Virginia’s top sports communicators will be on hand to offer insight into their fascinating world. The cost of $93 includes program materials and lunches.
Sport communication is an extremely competitive field, and many would-be professionals do not secceed because they start too late to gain knowledge and build experience. “Communicating the Game” is the perfect vehicle for getting a competitve edge.
