Mr. Barton asked Mr. Zumwalt about the signpost in front of his office on Gay Street. He complained that it was not straight up and down. Mr. Zumwalt responded that the post was that way when he rented the space and that it is set in concrete.
ARB member Steve Critzer stated that he would be resigning at the July meeting because he has been elected to the Washington Town Council. Mrs. Kevis asked him for nominations to fill his seat on the ARB. He said that one person who is a possibility is Bob Etchells, who lives on Piedmont Street.
Mrs. Kevis asked about the possibility of changing the ARB meeting date from the third Thursday of the month to the second Thursday. No one had any objections, and Mr. j Barton stated that he' would prefer ’ to meet on the second Thursday. This will again be discussed at the next meeting, which will be held on I the third Thursday of June.
