WHEREAS Clydetta E. Lynn was a devoted friend to the entire Wakefield Country Day School community — alumni, teachers, students and parents, and \
; WHEREAS without Clydetta E. Lynn’s financial and moral support for over twenty years, there would be no Wakefield Country Day School, and
WHEREAS in times of crisis and trouble, Clydetta E. Lynn endured personal hardships without regard to the adverse financial consequences to herself and to her family on behalf of Wakefield Country Day School, and remained a loyal supporter of the school to the end of.her days, and
WHEREAS the directors, members and friends of Wakefield Country , Day School wish to express our gratitude for Clydetta E. Lynn’s everlasting friendship and support during her lifetime and our sadness at her passing,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that at its Annual Membership meeting held this eighteenth day of May 1994 at Huntly, Virginia, the directors and members of Wakefield Country Day School, Inc. do hereby recognize and salute CLYDETTA E. LYNN’s innumerable contributions to our school and to our children; express our sincere appreciation for her unselfish dedication and all that she did for us and for Wakefield Country Day School during her lifetime; and convey our heartfelt condolences to her family, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the Corporation, published in The Rappahannock News and a duplicate original hereof be delivered to each of her relatives.
Adopted at Huntly, Virginia this 18th day of May, 1994.
