Surviving are her husband, Louis P. Moore Sr.; a son, Louis P. Moore Jr. of Flint Hill; a daughter, Dorothy A. Moore, of Centreville; four sisters, Virginia Strauch of Burlington, N.C., Ruth Jones of Winchester, Colleen Williams of Front Royal and Barbara Reid of Rock Mills; two brothers, William S. Griffith of Leesburg, Fla. and Richard Griffith of Fredericksburg and three grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by one brother Haywood Griffith!

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Hill Baptist Church, Flint Hill, Va. 22627.

Arrangements were handled by the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.

Nellie Dodson

Nellie Florence Dodson, 91, of Strasburg, died Friday, May 20 at her home.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 24 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young.

Burial was at Washington Masonic Cemetery. u

Mrs. Dodson was bom Aug. 8, 1902, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Marion and Laura Dodson Atkins.

She was the wife of the late Ellis Clifton Dodson.

Surviving are a son, Clifton E. Dodson of Front Royal; three daughters, Lucy M. Catlett of Strasburg, Ruth B. Dodson of Front Royal and Jeanette M. Jenkins of Stephens City; two brothers, Raymond Atkins of Toms Brook and Gilbert Atkins of Front Royal; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
