The Architectural Review Board of Washington met last week and approved the three applications which were presented.
Members present at the meeting were Chairperson Donna Kevis, Ed Barton, Patrick O’Connell and Steve Critzer. Dwight Matthews was absent due to a death in his family.
The first application was from Phyllis Marriott, proprietor of Foster-Harris House. She won approval for an addition to the back and side of the existing house. The main purpose of the addition is to provide her with more space, away from the bed and breakfast portion of her house, she said.
She said the new foundation will be cinder block covered with stucco.
