“This band is versatile, it can play anything,” said Joey Dunagan, music coordinator for Youth Outreach ’94, “anything from songs we have written ourselves to popular favorites. The emphasis is on good live Christian music for the younger generation.”
“This band” means the new group “The Fishermen,” several local high school and college njiusicians and vocalists who got together specifically for Outreach ’94. The program will be presented nightly 7-9 p.m. Thursday through Satruday, July 21-23, on the grounds of the Culpeper Baptist Church, off Blue Ridge Avenue.
“The Fishermen” have been practicing almost nightly to ensure the program’s success. Joey and Mitch Rosenberg each play guitar, Philip Smiley, drums, Tim Parsons, bass, Matthew Payne, Keyboards, and Tony Dunagan, saxaphone. Female vocalists include Carlee Wiles and Sharee Duagan.
