Krebser Traveling

To Switzerland on

4-H Exchange Trip

Katherine Krebser of Huntly departed July 12 to participate in a six week exchange program to Switzerland as an International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE) ambassador. She will live with two host families during her time in Switzerland.

The IFYE Ambassador program is a six week summer exchange for teens. There is a comparable sixmonth IFYE Delegate exchange program for young adults who were former 4-H’ers to travel to contries in Europe, South America, New Zealand and Australia and live with host families to learn about their culture.

‘This is the same international exchange in which Alice Reeve, a 4H alumnus, participated four years ago when she went to Germany,” commented Helen W. Smith, Extension Agent.
