Teen Program

A group of teens from Rappahannock and Culpeper counties is planning a music and drama festival called “Outreach 94.” The program will feature life-changing themes and the sound will include various styles from hip-hop to acoustical to hard rock.
Culpeper Baptist Church has offered the use of its grounds for three evenings, Thursday though Saturday, July 21, 22 and 23. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. each evening, and will feature instrumentalists, vocalists, dramas, comedies, and a thought provoking message.
The band calls themselves the “Fishermen.” New to Culpeper, this band features Mitch Rosenburg on guitar, Joel Kilby, bass, Philip Smiley, drums and Matthew Payne, keyboard. Vocalists include Joey Dunagan, Sharee’ Dunagan, Karen Hurlock, Sean Jordan and Carlee Wiles.
“Shockwave,” a dramatic team coordinated by Trey Hensley, will consist of are youth performing each evening.
Sandy Young, pastor of the Culpeper Christian Assembly, will present the message each night.
The program will be free. The public is invited.
