Bessie Guinn
Mrs. Bessie Ary Guinn, 89, of Culpeper, wife of J. Russell Guinn, died on Wednesday, July 13 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
A native of Woodville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel O. and Kate Settle Coughlin.
Mrs. Guinn was employed for a number of years as a sales clerk in the ladies’ clothing department of The White Shop in Culpeper.
She was a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three nephews, Robert B. Karnes of Springfield, James P. Karnes of Portsmouth and Paul E. Karnes of Culpeper and a niece, Mildred K. Peters of Roanoke.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 16 at Culpeper Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. John , S. Farrar officiating.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
