Corey Koral of Jordon River Farm reports that he was the victim of a drive-by shooting with a BB gun Monday afternoon.
Mr. Koral said he had returned from Front Royal at about 4 p.m. and had stopped at the corner of U.S. 522 and Route 637 to pick up his mail from the mailbox. He stepped out of his car and was shot in the neck by someone in a small green Ford pickup truck. The first three letters on the license plate' were ZBF, Mr. Koral reported.
He said he followed Hie truck until it turned off to go up to Chester Gap.
Mr. Koral said he still had a BB in his neck. He said Dr, Werner Krebser examined it and decided not to try to take it out but to wait for it to come out or move where it would be easier to remove.
The sheriffs department is investigating this incident.
