The State Corporation Commission (SCC) has scheduled a December public hearing to consider the latest request from Potomac Edison Company for a rate increase.
Potomac Edison filed its application on June 22, 1994, for $12.5 million in additional revenue. The company will implement new interim rates beginning November 20, 1994.
Potomac Edison customers are currently paying interim rates stemming from a 1993 rate request that is still under consideration by the Commission. If the Commission ap' proves an increase less than that requested, any overcharges will be refunded with interest.
A hearing examiner will conduct a public hearing at 10 a.m. on1 Wednesday, December 7, 1994, in a second-floor courtroom in the Tyler Building, 1300 East Main Street, in downtown Richmond. 1
Anyone wishing to speak at the 1 hearing should arrive by 9:45 a.m. and sign in with the SCC bailiff. Written comments should be sent to the Clerk of the Commission, do Document Control Center, P.O.
