The government of the Town of Washington, has, since its inception, been able to recruit a number of able volunteers to accomplish a deversity of tasks. This enabled the town to operate on very limited budgets, without direct citizen taxation, while at the same time creating a team spirit that made it a pleasure to serve. We expect no less from the new Town Council.

Disappointed
To the Editor
What a disappointment and degrading experience! There are so few dining extablishments in the area that are handicapped accessible. I had become very fond of the Bleu Rock Inn in Sperryville and had always been treated with respect and dignity.
I had always been afforded entrance through the ramped doorway which goes down a hallway on which are two rooms that make up one accommodation. Obviously the ownership or management of the Bleu Rock Inn has changed.
I had called 10 days in advance and explained my need to use the ramped entrance because of my disability. I was assured that would be no problem.
