Most of the young performers are members of either Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Culpeper Baptist Church, Culpeper Christian Assembly, or Open Door Baptist Church. However, the program is strictly non-denominational, and all are welcome, especially those with no church affiliation. :
Each evening, Rev. Sandy Young, Pastor of Culpeper Christian Assembly, will discuss the majesty and power of Jesus as it relates to what young people face today. Rev. Young was bom in San Antonio, Texas, received a degree in Sociology from Virginia Tech, and a master’s degree in Theology from Dallas Seminary. He began his ministry in Culpeper 20 years ago as coordinator of the Son House, a coffeeshop ministry. He has been pastor of Culpeper Christian Assembly since 1987. He is married and has two sons, aged 17 and 14.
“Kooter and Pole Cat,” two local teens who are known for their comedy routines, will serve as Masters of Ceremonies.
Outreach ’94 is free and open to everyone. Refreshments will be served.
