This Saturday, August 13, The Friends of the Shenandoah River are hosting Shenandoah Riverfest ’94, a celebration of the famous river’s heritage and the need to protect its future.
The festival will be at Poe’s Shanandoah Campground near Front Royal.
With the river as the centerpiece, festival goers are encouraged to design their own day. For those who Idee to look and learn there will be wildlife displays, an expanded environmnetal midway, a living history encampment featuring families playing the parts of our river-dependent ancestors, arts and crafts, continuous live music and lots of food.
